Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has lauded the former captain of the team, Onome Ebi, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Ebi, 42, announced her retirement from professional football on Wednesday.
The centre-back’s career lasted over two decades.
Ajibade celebrated her former teammate with a special message on the social media.
“Congratulations on a fantastic career Ebi Onome. We wish you all the best for the future!, Ajibade wrote on X.
Dependable defender, Osinachi Ohale also felicitated with the former Bayelsa Queens player.
“Happy retirement my able 5 @onosky5, I pray that this new chapter brings you lots of success and wins ,” reads the short message.
