The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared four Nigerians wanted over the CBEX Ponzi scheme that saw thousands of Nigerians lose millions of naira.

The agency on Friday published the names and photographs of the wanted individuals on its official X handle.

Their names are Seyi Oloyede, Emmanuel Uko, Adefowora Oluwanisola, and Adefowora Abiodun Olaonipekun.

“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear above are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” EFCC wrote.

It added, “Anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts should please contact the Commission in Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt.”

On Thursday, the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court gave EFCC the go-ahead to arrest and detain six promoters of Crypto Bridge Exchange, CBEX, over alleged investment fraud to the tune of over one billion dollars.
