Barcelona has been dealt a fresh massive blow ahead of El Clasico against Real Madrid as midfielder Pedri is ruled out over an injury.

Barcelona will on Sunday host Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou Stadium in La Liga El Clasico for their fourth encounter of the season across competitions.

The Blaugrana are currently having a nine-point advantage over the Los Blancos on the La Liga table.

Barcelona is certain to have their task cut out without Pedri against Real Madrid.

According to Spanish journalist Javi Miguel, the 20-year-old will remain absent from the latest clash between Barcelona and Carlo Ancelott’s side.

It’s obviously a huge loss for Xavi’s side as Pedri has developed into a key player for them in recent times.

Pedri has scored six goals in 21 league appearances this season.

The likes of Franck Kessie or Sergi Roberto will now come into Barcelona’s XI against Real Madrid.
