Chelsea FC’s Enzo Maresca has rated the performance of the club’s summer 2025 signing, Alejandro Garnacho, for the club.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has shared an encouraging update on Alejandro Garnacho’s adaptation and fitness since joining the club from Manchester United earlier this season.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Chelsea’s mid-week fixture in the Carabao Cup against Wolves, Maresca praised the young Argentine’s work ethic and gradual improvement while acknowledging the need to carefully manage his workload.
“Garnacho’s doing well. We are trying to manage Ale since he arrived not at 100% from Manchester United,” Maresca explained. “He is working hard every day, he is getting better and better, and in this moment we are happy with the way he is playing.”
Garnacho, who joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window, arrived with some minor fitness concerns after a long and demanding season at Old Trafford. Despite that, the winger has already shown flashes of brilliance in Maresca’s attacking system, bringing pace, flair, and creativity to the Blues’ frontline.
