The games are coming thick and fast in the Premier League this Yuletide season.

This weekend, Game Week 17 matches will be played across England.

The standout fixture will be Manchester United’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday.

But which other games could we see shocking results?

NEWSUNPLUG takes a deep dive into what may play out over the weekend.

1. Arsenal vs Brighton: The Seagulls have become a sort of bogey team for Arsenal at the Emirates. Brighton have won five and lost four of their 12 Premier League matches against the Gunners. Although Mikel Arteta’s men are unbeaten in 12 home matches in all competitions since losing 3-0 to Brighton in May, thunder could strike again.

2. Man City vs Crystal Palace: Speaking about bogey teams on your own turf, Manchester City always seem to struggle against Crystal Palace at the Etihad. The Eagles have lost just two of their past five visits, winning two and drawing one. Saturday evening’s game could prove to be tricky for the champions, who are likely to be without talismanic striker, Erling Haaland.

3. Chelsea vs Sheffield United: The Blues’ home record has been abysmal. Chelsea would be looking to win successive Premier League home games for the first time since a run of three from August to October last year. Sheffield United, on the other hand, look like a team ready to fight for their survival since Chris Wilder returned and could make things difficult for their hosts.
