European football expert Julien Laurens has insisted that Fulham star Alex Iwobi and manager Marco Silva are underrated in England.
Laurens spoke following Fulham’s Premier League 3-1 home defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.
Iwobi has been in good form for Fulham so far this season.
The Nigeria international also drew plaudits for his outstanding performance in Fulham’s 3-1 victory over Brentford some days ago, where he both scored and provided an assist.
“Imagine what Marco Silva could do if he had proper investment,” Julien Laurens said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I think they are underrated. I think Iwobi is underrated and Marco Silva is massively underrated in this country.”
Iwobi, who has played for Arsenal in the past, joined Fulham from Everton in 2023.
