Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has reacted on social media after his team were crowned Premier League champions.
Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest on Saturday officially brought their title challenge to an end and gave Man City their third Premier League title in a row.
Man City had the chance to wrap up the title on Sunday against Chelsea, but will now play the match against Frank Lampard’s side, knowing the trophy will remain at the Etihad.
Haaland has been phenomenal this season for Pep Guardiola’s side, having joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £51.2 million last summer.
After Man City were crowned the 2022-2023 champions of England, Haaland took to Twitter and wrote: “Always give your best. Always believe. It pays off. C’MON CITY!”
Haaland is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with 36 goals.
