Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has confirmed that four players will be unavailable for their Premier League clash against Newcastle on Boxing Day.

Amorim revealed this while speaking to reporters on Tuesday.

United lost their skipper Bruno Fernandes during the 2-1 defeat to Aston Vill last weekend.

And Fernandes is expected to be out for the game against the Magpies.

Amorim has now said Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt will also be out with injuries.

When asked if Fernandes or Mainoo will be fit, Amorim said: “No, not for this game.

“They are recovering. I don’t think that it is going to take a lot of time. Kobbie is going to return faster than Bruno.”
