Former Arsenal defender, Martin Keown has said the team is “10 years behind” Manchester City.
Keown was reacting to City’s 4-1 win over the Gunners on Wednesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s men were outclassed for the most of the game at the Etihad.
The result also saw the champions close the gap at the top to two points.
“It’s the acid test when you play Manchester City.
“Haaland and De Bruyne are on another level. When the big games come around, these players perform at a high level.
“You could see a huge gap behind the two clubs. Arsenal are about 10 years behind them, but they are on the right path,” Keown said.
