Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given the latest injury updates on his squad, ahead of Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League.

The Gunners will be hoping to go eight points clear of Manchester City with a win in the early kick-off.

But Arteta is likely to be without some players for the game.

On Declan Rice, he said: “Let’s see. Of all the questions I’m going to get, the answer will be the same – we have another training session this afternoon.

“Every hour will be important to see the availability of the players.

“Mosquera [ankle injury] is more complicated. We have tests today to see where we are.”

He added on William Saliba and Leandro Trossard: “It’s a matter of days with those two.”
