Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has provided the latest update on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli after injury concerns.

Arsenal have been left sweating over injury concerns to Saka and Martinelli after they thrashed Sheffield United 6-0 in the Premier League on Monday at Bramall Lane.

Saka was subbed off at half-time, having been seen speaking to the club physio after going down the tunnel at the break, while Martinelli needed assistance as he limped off the pitch in the 63rd minute, with Gabriel Jesus taking his place.

Goals from Martin Odegaard, Jayden Bogle (own goal), Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Ben White gave Arsenal the win over the host.

“He [Saka] was feeling a bit sick. As well we have Fabio [Vieira] who we needed to give minutes.

“We had a little issue with Gabi Martinelli. He had a little cut in his foot. We need to see how it is,” Arteta told Sky Sports.
