Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that he would join fans of the club to chant about winning the league this season
During their 3-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday Arsenal fans could be heard loudly chanting the title victory song.
The victory took them back to five points above Manchester City in the Premier League table.
Manchester City had earlier managed a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace to reduce the gap to just three, mounting pressure on Arsenal.
Arteta was asked about the chanting by the fans, he said, “I would be singing with them to support the team, that’s for sure! They’ve been exceptional.
‘The amount of people we had coming here, their attitude, their passion, the energy that they’re putting in is incredible.
“And we’re going to need that and that’s a game-changer for us, so thank you!”
