Fulham defender, Calvin Bassey has lamented his missed chance in the Whites’ stalemate with Nottingham Forest.
Bassey was close to scoring the game’s curtain raiser early on.
The Nigerian international failed to direct his header on target despite beating his marker to the ball.
Bassey admitted it was a big opportunity to snatch all three points in the game.
”It was a big chance. I wasn’t sure if I was onside or offside at the moment. I timed the jump well, but I hit it straight at the keeper. It’s got to be a goal,” Bassey admitted.
The 25-year-old has scored once in 22 league appearances for Marco Silva’s side this season.
