Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has named his greatest centre-back pairing in Premier League history.
In a tweet on his X account on Friday, Carragher named Arsenal duo William Saliba and Gabriel as one of the top-flight’s best partnerships.
The former England defender also added the likes of John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho, and Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.
This is coming after Saliba and Gabriel impressed in Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League 0-0 draw with Atalanta on Thursday.
