Chelsea forward, João Pedro, on Tuesday, made history after scoring a goal against Leeds United in the Premier League.

Recall that goals from Pedro, Cole Palmer, Noah Okafor, and Felix Nmecha ensured both Chelsea and Leeds shared a point each.

However, according to OptaJoe, Pedro’s goal against Leeds means the 24-year-old is now the fourth Brazilian to score 10 goals plus in back-to-back Premier League seasons, after Roberto Firmino (from 2015-16 to 2018-19), Richarlison (2018-19/2019-20), and Matheus Cunha (2023-24/2024-25).

Pedro joined Chelsea from Premier League rivals Brighton in 2025.

He has been impressive for the Blues so far and helped them to win the FIFA Club World Cup last year.

Pedro will now hope to continue his brilliant display for the Premier League west London club when they face Hull City in the FA Cup on Friday.
