Arsenal legend, David Seaman, has named the best goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League.
According to him, Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel is the best goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League.
Seaman, who made more than 500 appearances for Arsenal during his 13-year spell at the Gunners, insisted that Schmeichel brought a new style during his professional career.
When asked by Metro who he rates as the best goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League, Seaman said: “I’ve got to go for Peter Schmeichel.
“Look at what he did and what he achieved.
“The way he kept goal was totally different from me, both styles obviously work, but he brought a new style into the Premier League.”
