Nottingham Forest manager, Sean Dyche, was delighted to see Taiwo Awoniyi hit the target in their 2-0 win over Brentford on Sunday.
Awoniyi netted the Tricky Trees second goal of the game with an individual effort.
It was the Nigeria international’s first goal of the season for Forest.
The striker barely featured for the club earlier in the season under previous manager, Nuno Espirito Santo.
Awoniyi has however been offered another chance to impress under Dyche.
Dyche praised the 28-year-old for his dedication and hard work.
“Absolutely buzzing. He works hard for us and trained well in the last week. I had a chat with him – nothing heavy – and reminded him to be free. He looked free when he came on. He worked very hard and it was a very good finish.”
