Former Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, has opened up on life at Arsenal.
There are rumours that the Spaniard was regretting making the switch to Arsenal from Stamford Bridge but he insisted that he is ‘really happy.’
Kepa said he has been ‘amazed’ by the quality in the squad since his move from Chelsea.
The Spain international, who moved to Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for £72m in 2018, making him the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, joined Arsenal over the summer for just £5m.
He joined Mikel Arteta’s side as back-up to first-choice Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
He was sent on loan to Bournemouth before completing a permanent move away from Chelsea.
The Spain goalkeeper has only made one appearance for the Gunners so far but insists he is ‘really enjoying’ his time in north London.
“It’s been really good, really good,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“I’m really happy to be here and I feel I’m already adapting myself in the team. It’s such a nice group of people and that makes everything easier.
“There haven’t been any surprises really. How a changing room works is always quite similar. But what I would say is that the quality of people here – on and off the pitch – is really amazing.”
After the international break, Arsenal will face London rivals, Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.
