Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, has predicted that Arsenal will drop points at Sunderland.

The Gunners travel to the Stadium of Light, looking to set a new club record.

Mikel Arteta’s side will also be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table to nine points on Saturday evening.

Arsenal have won 10 consecutive games in all competitions and conceded only three times all season.

But Neville expects the league leaders to be frustrated by Sunderland.

“They’re awkward Sunderland, aren’t they? I’ll go with 1-1,” Neville said on The Overlap.

“I don’t really know why I’ve done that – I fancy Arsenal but Sunderland are tough there.”

His co-host, Ian Wright, chipped in: “We’re playing well. I’m going 2-0 Arsenal.”
