Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, has ruled Chelsea out of the Premier League title race.
The Blues are currently in second place on the table, following a 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday.
Enzo Maresca’s men sit six points behind leaders Arsenal, who they welcome to Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Neville believes Chelsea has a good team, but are not ready to become champions.
He said on Sky Sports: “They will get close and they’ll tease us and have us thinking they are the closest challengers but I don’t think that will emerge as the season goes on.
“But next weekend is a real tough test and that’s where you find out about these types of teams.
“Chelsea will want to win the title in the next couple of years but they don’t seem close to it at this moment.”
