Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has told the Premier League club he will inform them his decision on staying beyond this season.
As it stands, Guardiola is contracted to City until June 2027.
However, there is increasing speculation the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss could walk away.
The UK Telegraph reports that Guardiola wants to analyse where City are under him when the campaign ends in May.
That will play a crucial role in if the 55-year-old continues in the role for the next 12 months.
After finishing last season without silverware, City have already won the Carabao Cup this year, beating Arsenal 2-0 in the final.
