Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has named Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard as his player of the season so far.
Ferdinand said Odegaard has been great for Arsenal so far this season.
Odegaard has enjoyed a superb season for Arsenal, turning in another outstanding display in Sunday’s North London Derby 2-0 victory over Tottenham.
“I would go as far as to say right now, he is probably my player of the year,” Ferdinand told Vibe with Five.
“Haaland’s has done what he has done, he has been great, don’t get me wrong.
“If Haaland eases up with the goals and Arsenal win the league and Odegaard continues, he is my player of the year.”
