Dutch legend, Marco van Basten has described Manchester United forward, Antony as a confused player who does not know what to do with the ball.

He said this while heaping praise on Ajax starlet, who is being targeted by Manchester United, Mohammed Kudus.

Basten believes that Kudus is a ‘much better’ footballer than Antony.

Manchester United paid £86million to bring Antony from Ajax to Old Trafford last summer and the Brazilian has only mustered three Premier League goals and zero assists since his big-money move.

“I find Mohammed Kudus a much better football player than Antony,” Van Basten said on Ziggo Sport on Monday evening.

“Antony has his skills, but he is confused with the things he is trying to do.

“Kudus is much more of a footballer…In fact, I like him much better than Antony. He’s more fun to watch play.”
