Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has said his former team are “heavy favourites” to win the Premier League this season. The Gunners now hold a four-point lead at the top of the table. Crucially, Mikel Arteta’s men are six points clear of Manchester City and seven above champions Liverpool.
Speaking with TribalFootball, Parlour said: “I’m sure they (Arsenal) are heavy, heavy favourites to win the league now.
“And they’ve just got to keep going. Not think about the league, but just keep trying to win football matches and, sooner or later, they will get the job done.
“You’ve just got to win your football matches and hopefully other teams will do you a favour, which is what happened this weekend.”
