Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has insisted that Chelsea should have appointed Como coach Cesc Fabregas over Liam Rosenior as the Blues’ new manager.
Scholes believes Fabregas, a former Chelsea midfielder, should have been a better choice for the Premier League west London club compared to Rosenior.
Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, the former England international said of Fabregas: “Not for United.
“But do you know what? I actually like what Fabregas is doing and think he might have been a better choice for Chelsea than Liam Rosenior.
“But he’s not right for Manchester United.”
Rosenior was recently appointed as Chelsea’s new manager following the dismissal of Enzo Maresca.
