Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has hailed teammate, Kobbie Mainoo after his side’s Premier League 3-0 win over Everton on Sunday.

Fernandes said Mainoo deserved Man of the Match award, adding that he is always ready to help.

Recall that Alejandro Garnacho was named Man of the Match as Man United defeated Everton at Goodison Park.

Goals from Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial gave Erik ten Hag’s side all three points against the host.

Speaking about Mainoo’s display, Fernandes told BBC’s Match of the Day after the game, “Great game, for me man of the match, a great performance and secure on the ball and never puts a foot wrong.

“He is always ready to help, for his age he has too much quality.

“He did so many good things today, he was secure on the ball.”
