Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has noted that goalkeeper, Senne Lammens can stay at the club for the next ten years.

The Belgian goalkeeper joined Manchester United last summer with the Red Devils paying an initial £18 million to Royal Antwerp.

Because Lammens had played just 52 games for Royal Antwerp before moving to England, many people doubted he was the right goalkeeper for Manchester United.

However, Lammens, 23, appears to have proven his doubters wrong as he is doing well in his first season at Manchester United.

The goalkeeper showed how good he could be in Manchester United’s 1-0 victory against Newcastle United in the Premier League over the weekend.

Ferdinand now thinks the Belgian player will have a long time playing at Old Trafford.

“Do you know what, Lammens is a solid addition to this squad,” Ferdinand said on his podcast.

“He’s going to be Manchester United’s keeper for the next ten years, no doubt. He is as solid as a rock.”
