Former Premier League striker, Darren Bent, has warned Manchester United against signing Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella.
Bent said that Cucurella has not performed well enough with Chelsea, saying that the Red Devils should instead sign Rico Henry from Brentford.
Following injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, The Red Devils are looking to bring in a left back.
“He [Cucurella] hasn’t looked at the level at Chelsea,” he said on talks
Bent emphasised that the 25-year-old struggled in his first season at Chelsea.
He said the Spaniard was comfortable playing as a left-sided centre-back in a back three, but struggles playing as a left back or left wing-back.
