Manchester United hero, Ryan Giggs has advised young midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo against leaving Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
Mainoo, 20, hardly play for Man United regularly since head coach Ruben Amorim took charge at Old Trafford.
The English youngster had been urged to seek regular more playing time in another club when the January transfer window opens.
However, Giggs wants Mainoo not to leave the Red Devils next month, but instead fight for his jersey at the Premeir League club.
Speaking to Metro UK, Giggs said: “As a footballer, you want to play. But I would [advise Mainoo to] have more patience because he is only 20 years old.
“It is difficult to play centre midfield position for Manchester United. Mainoo is still learning the game.”
