Chelsea winger, Pedro Neto, has said members of the squad are “all upset” after the club sacked Enzo Maresca.
Maresca parted ways with the Blues on New Year’s Day.
The Italian’s departure follows a breakdown in communication with the club’s hierarchy.
His last game in charge was the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in midweek.
The 45-year-old is now likely to be replaced by Liam Rosenior, the manager of BlueCo-owned Strasbourg.
Neto, who was signed by Maresca in August 2024, said: “On personal terms, he was unbelievable as well so the only thing I can say is thank you but it is football and we have to go through it and go to the next game already, thinking about us as a team and trying to win it.”
