Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has identified the club’s summer signing, Kai Havertz as the player that will cause a lot of problems for opposition teams while playing for the Gunners this season.

Arsenal secured the signing of Havertz from Chelsea this summer transfer window.

The Germany international arrives as a player who is experienced in the Premier League.

He made 139 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 32 goals and providing 15 assists across competitions for the Blues.

“I have seen that we have played him up front and we have played him back into the midfield,” Wright told Premier League Productions.

“I believe that somebody like Kai Havertz, you mention Thomas Partey, you can have two number eights. You can have Kai Havertz as one if you want or Declan Rice.

“You can play him a little deeper or you can play him in that little bit advanced role. Obviously, we don’t need him as a number nine. But I know that he is somebody that, if he can crash the box, then I believe he will cause a lot of problems for teams,” he stated.
