Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, has expressed concerns over the Gunners’ lack of cutting edge in front of goal.

The former England international was worried after watching Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Brighton on Saturday.

Arsenal are still leading the Premier League title race, two points above Manchester City following the win over Brighton.

Manchester City also recorded a 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Martin Odegaard first half strike and Georginio Rutter[own goal] were all the Gunners needed to keep all three points on Saturday while Diego Gomez pulled one back for Brighton.

After watching his former club miss several chances, Wright said Arsenal need to become more ruthless during games.

“I think David Raya has probably saved our blushes with that amazing save,” Wright told Premier League Productions.

“But it’s a problem we’ve got at the moment. For some reason, with the chances we’re making, we don’t seem to be able to take the chances to be comfortable in the game, then the anxiety kicks in and then it feels like a basketball match kind of energy.”

Arsenal are hoping to win the Premier League this season after 24 years. The Gunners have finished second in the last three seasons.
