Renato Veiga, Chelsea’s fifth summer signing under new manager, Enzo Maresca, has expressed his delight after joining the Premier League west London club.
Veiga officially joined Chelsea from FC Basel on Friday
The versatile 20-year-old signed a seven-year deal at Stamford Bridge, including the option of a further year.
He becomes Chelsea’s fifth signing of the summer following deals for Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Aston Villa’s Omari Kellyman, Barcelona’s Marc Guiu and Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to be here,” Veiga told Chelsea’s official website.
“This is one of the biggest clubs in England – the biggest for me – and I’m just really excited to get started.”
