Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is backing his former club to become Premier League champions this season.
The Gunners have experienced a bit of wobble in recent weeks and are now only two points ahead of Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta’s men are also only three points ahead Aston Villa, who are on a nine-game winning run.
With injuries also mounting, Wenger remains confident Arteta is up to the task, even with City breathing down Arsenal’s neck.
“No, Arsenal will win the league,” Wenger told AFTV.
“Why do you ask can? We will win the league.
“I’m honestly very confident, maybe it’s because I’m not involved. I am very confident, we will win.”
