Everton star, Alex Iwobi, has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season ahead of Manchester City.

Iwobi, a former Arsenal player, said he wants the Gunners to win the English top-flight league title, to be fair.

The Nigerian international also revealed that his former Arsenal team-mate Reiss Nelson is ‘a joke’ in training.

Asked if he believes Arsenal will win the title ahead of Man City, Iwobi said on The Beautiful Game podcast, ‘Yeah, I believe so. And I want them to, to be fair.”

“He [Nelson] is another Arsenal product,” Iwobi added.

“He’s another one who is a joke in training. With him, he just has that raw ability. I have to give it to him because he has to be patient. But every time he’s come on to play, he has delivered. I think he’s been the most impactful sub at Arsenal this season.”
