Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has named Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola as one of the greatest managers of all time.

Carragher also backed Manchester City to claim a historic treble – Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup – following their Premier League title triumph.

The former defender spoke after Arsenal’s Premier League 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

“I think they [Man City] will [win the Treble],” Carragher told Sky Sports.

“They will be big favourites going into the game against Inter Milan [in the Champions League].

“The same with the FA Cup final against Manchester United.”

He added, “The standards are being raised so high by Pep Guardiola, I would say. It is not just Man City. With a different manager, they would not be reaching these heights.

“I think we are looking at one of the greatest managers of all time, and for me, he makes the biggest difference to Man City.”
