Recently sacked Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann has given a condition to Tottenham handlers before he could accept to take over as their manager.

The Independent reports that the German wants a ‘decisive say’ in Tottenham’s transfer business if he becomes the manager.

Spurs sacked their interim manager Cristian Stellini on Monday night in the wake of Sunday’s humiliating 6-1 thrashing in the hands of Newcastle United in the Premier League.

In a statement announcing the sack of Stellini, club chairman Daniel Levy described the result as ‘devastating’ and ‘wholly unacceptable’.

Ryan Mason is now in charge and is tasked with steering the club until the end of the season.

Naglesmann has emerged as favourite to take charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as they look to appoint a third permanent manager in two years.

The 35-year-old Naglesmann withdrew from the race to become the permanent manager at Chelsea with reports in Germany claiming he is now giving serious consideration to taking the Spurs job.

According to the Independent, Levy would prefer to hire the young German before the end of the season but would like him to wait until the summer.

The report added that Nagelsmann is eager to retain a key role in the club’s transfer dealings if he is to head to the north London club.
