Marc Kosicke, the agent to former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, has claimed that he snubbed offers from Manchester United and Chelsea after leaving Anfield.
Klopp stepped down from the role with the Reds in 2024 and took a break from management.
The German is currently the head of soccer at the Red Bull group.
But Koscike has revealed that Klopp was the subject to interest from Liverpool’s Premier League rivals.
“Before joining Red Bull, Jurgen could have coached the USA or England,” Kosicke told Transfermarkt.
“Probably also Germany, if Julian Nagelsmann hadn’t already been there.
“Even Chelsea and Manchester United inquired, although Jurgen had clearly stated that he would not coach any other club in England. These enquiries keep coming.”
