Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke has said new signing Leonard Ngenge will have time to adapt to life at the club, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Ngenge joined the Premier League club from Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Remo Stars this week.
The 19-year-old signed a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The centre-back will primarily play for Leeds United’s U-21 side.
Ngenge is however expected to graduate to the main team.
Farke declared that they won’t rush the youngster to first team football.
“He[Ngenge] will be with our youth, we will give him time to adapt, and it is not the plan to rush anything with him,” Farke told the club’s official website.
