Florian Wirtz will wear the no.7 shirt at Liverpool next season, taking it from Luis Diaz.

Diaz has already been confirmed as a new Bayern Munich player this week.

Wirtz joined the Premier League champions in a £116million move from Bayer Leverkusen.

The No.7 shirt has been worn by several Liverpool legends over the years, including Luis Suarez, Kenny Dalglish and Steve McManaman.

Milos Kerkez has been given the No.6 shirt, while Jeremie Frimpong takes the No.30.

Hugo Ekitike will wear the No.22 jersey, and new goalkeepers Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman and Armin Pecsi will wear 25, 28 and 41, respectively.

Conor Bradley (12) and Trey Nyoni (42) have also opted for new numbers.

Liverpool will play two friendlies against Athletic Club, before they begin the defence of their season against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield next Sunday.
