Manchester United have reportedly told winger, Antony that he is free to leave the club in the January transfer window following the sack of manager Erik ten Hag, talkSPORT reports.

Antony’s former club Ajax as well as Brazilian side Flamengo have been credited with an interest in the player while other Premier League clubs may also explore a loan deal for him.

Antony joined Man United on the recommendation of Ten Hag over two years ago.

The Red Devils signed the Brazilian international in a £85 million deal from Ajax.

But the 24-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford.

He scored just four goals in his first season and managed just one contribution last season.

However, Antony has scored just one goal for United so far this season.
