Leicester City manager, Enzo Maresca, will bring back Willy Caballero when his switch to Chelsea is confirmed, according to the UK Metro.

Both clubs are in talks over a deal for Maresca, who is now the hot favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have ruled out names like Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna and Brentford’s Thomas Frank and are now looking to wrap up a deal for the Foxes boss.

The Italian, who was previously Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City, ticks all the boxes they are looking for in a young, progressive head coach.

Chelsea will pay around £10million and would also need to secure deals for Maresca’s coaching staff.

Maresca will almost certainly be joined in West London by his assistant manager, Willy Caballero, who spent four seasons at Chelsea.

Caballero was part of the squads that won the Champions League and Europa League.
