Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards has snubbed his old club while claiming that Arsenal have the ‘best squad in Europe’.
Richards labelled Arsenal’s squad as ‘powerful,’ adding that their set-pieces is not normal.
Arsenal are currently six points ahead of second-position Chelsea and seven points ahead of third-position Man City in the Premier League table.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards said: “How good are Arsenal, by the way?
“Their threat at set-pieces is not normal. How can you get the delivery right every single time? It is not normal. I don’t know how they are doing it.
“They have got a few injuries, but they are coping because they have got the best squad in Europe. The squad is just ridiculous and so powerful.
“They can make a few changes and the standard doesn’t drop. The squad is just amazing.”
