West Ham United striker, Michail Antonio has switched his prediction on the winner of this season’s Premier League.

Antonio initially believes that Manchester City will retain the Premier League title, but he has now changed his mind after Arsenal’s impressive running.

The Gunners have maintained an excellent record in their eight consecutive league games, which earned them the top spot in the standings.

Considering Arsenal’s performance, Antonio now thinks that Mikel Arteta’s side will win the league title ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool.

Recounting Arsenal’s excellent performance, Antonio noted that Arsenal has become the City of the last three years.

Such a transition made Antonio confident that Arsenal will continue to execute their top performance down to the wire.

“I don’t think City are going to do it this year. I have been saying since the turn of the year City are doing it, but the way Arsenal have been performing, they have become the City of last three years,” Antonio said (via The Boot Room).

“They have done the complete opposite of what they did last year when they started the season until December bossing it and then turn of the year, crumbled. Whereas they have come to the business end of the year and they have completely and utter turned it on.”
