Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah set another record during the Reds’ Premier League clash with Leeds United on Sunday.

The Egypt international has now scored the most left-footed goals in the history of the English top-flight.

Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah scored for Jurgen Klopp’s side who have struggled for the majority of this season.

Salah scored the second goal of the night for the Merseysiders with an excellent near-post finish.

It was his 106th in the Premier League with his left foot, which means the former Chelsea and Roma star has overtaken former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler, who scored 105 with his left foot during his career.

At the moment, Salah’s nearest challenger for the record is fellow North African star Riyad Mahrez with 65 goals in his own basket.

All other players in the top 10 list have either retired or have left the Premier League.

This is the top ten of most left-footed goals in Premier League history.
Mohamed Salah – 107
Robbie Fowler – 105
Robin van Persie – 94
Ryan Giggs – 83
Riyad Mahrez – 65
Romelu Lukaku – 60
Olivier Giroud – 50
David Silva – 49
Daniel Sturridge – 47
Louis Saha – 46
