Former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has singled out two Arsenal players for praise, following their 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

The Gunners dropped points against the former Premier League champions at the Emirates.

Erling Haaland put City in front, before Gabriel Martinelli lobbed the ball over Gianluigi Donnarumma to salvage a point for the hosts.

Oliseh has pointed out to Mikel Arteta’s decision to introduce Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka at the start of the second half as the game changer.

“Eze and Saka’s introduction gave Arsenal a better grip of the game, if only Arsenal could better combine to strike at goal more,” Oliseh wrote on X.

“Sadly 2 points lost in my opinion, but then, it could have been worse!”

Arsenal are now five points behind Liverpool after the first five matches.
