Former France midfielder, Emmanuel Petit, expects Arsenal to record an easy win against Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The Gunners saw their lead at the top of the table cut to two points, after Manchester City beat Fulham 5-4 yesterday.
Petit has said Mikel Arteta’s men must go on a winning run and try to increase the gap between them and their rivals.
Although Petit believes Brentford can be a “nuisance”, he expects Arsenal to score up to three goals agains their opponents.
He said: “Arsenal must win at the Emirates. When I look at the schedule of the upcoming games until Christmas, they have so called easy games.
“This is an opportunity over the next five games to increase the gap with the top teams in the Premier League. So, definitely a victory for Arsenal.
“I would say Brentford can be a nuisance sometimes, but I don’t see why Arsenal would drop points. I would probably say something like a 3-0 win.”
