Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has named the two best signings in the Premier League this season.
The winter transfer window ended on Monday night, and several players joined different clubs.
Similarly, the summer transfer window was concluded last year, and several players also moved to different clubs.
However, speaking on The Wayne Rooney show, Rooney insisted that Hugo Ekitike and Granit Xhaka are the best two signings in the Premier League this season.
Recall that Ekitike joined Liverpool from Frankfurt in the last summer transfer window, while Xhaka joined Sunderland from Bayer Leverkusen.
‘”Ekitike and [Granit] Xhaka at Sunderland have probably been the two best signings in the Premier League. I really enjoy watching Ekitike play,” Rooney said.
Both Ekitike and Xhaka have been impressive for their respective clubs so far this season.
