Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has said Chelsea can “push” Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
Rooney was speaking on Amazon Prime, after watching the Blues beat Barcelona 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Enzo Maresca’s men ran riot at Stamford Bridge, thanks to a Jules Kounde own goal and further strikes from Willian Estevao and Liam Delap.
Chelsea welcome league leaders Arsenal next to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, looking to claw back a six-point gap.
Ahead of the game, Rooney said: “Maresca has managed the team really well.
“They are probably missing their best player (Cole Palmer) and we forgot about him tonight because the performance was that good.
“They are doing something right, they are looking a threat and the more confidence they get, the more they will win. They can push Arsenal.”
