Liverpool midfielder, Curtis Jones has revealed that teammate, Mohamed Salah apologized to the Red Devils squad after his explosive interview.
Recall that Salah had criticized Liverpool and its manager, accusing the club of throwing him “under the bus,” while also insisting he had no good relationship with Arne Slot.
The Egyptian was later dropped from the team’s squad after his interview, but was brought back to the squad and featured in their win against Brighton.
Salah is currently with the Egyptian national team at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.
Speaking with Sky Sports, Jones said: “Mo is his own man, and he can say his own stuff.
“He apologised to us and was like, ‘If I’ve affected anybody or made you feel any sort of way, I apologise’. That is the man that he is.
“I can only speak from my knowing Mo and how he is with us and how he acted on that. He was positive as well.”
